Insight Mobile (Android) Release Notes v1.6.0

This section presents the features from PG Connect v1.4.0 that have been enhanced, modified, or moved to the Insight Webportal platform.

PG Connect Rebranded

Starting with the 1.6.0 release, PG Connect Android app has been rebranded and renamed to Insight Mobile 1.6.0.

Single Launcher Icon Introduced

When you install the Insight Mobile app, now a single launcher icon displays on you Android device. Use it to access the new Supervisor and Worker profiles.

User Profiles Introduced

Two new user profiles have now been introduced to Insight Mobile: Supervisor View and Worker View.
Use the Supervisor View to manage your firmware updates, Insight connectivity, Keyboard settings or Proximity configurations.
The Worker View has been reduced to the minimum number of features the worker is required to use (i.e. Scan2Pair and Proximity.)
Worker View is the default view on app start.

Integration Wizard Migrated

The Integration Wizard from PG Connect 1.4 has been removed. In the Supervisor View you can still enable the Software Keyboard Integration path if needed. More advanced integration path settings are now available on Insight Webportal platform. To set Integration Paths, you need to configure them inside a Configuration File in the Configurations section of the Insight Webportal platform.

Workflow Rules Removed

The Workflow Rules section has now been migrated to Insight Webportal. To set Workflow Rules, you need to configure them inside a Configuration File in the Configurations section of the Insight Webportal platform.

Proximity (BETA) Feature Introduced

The Proximity (BETA) feature has now been introduced to provide your workers with active monitoring of safety distance between them.

License for Early Access Features

Worker Feedback, Display, and Button features have now been fully released and no longer require an Early Access key.
